FOB Facts

Fobs are directional.  If they are in open air (not in a pocket or bag) the proximity area will be larger.

When placed in a pocket of tight or snug fitting clothing the proximity area is reduced.

If your FOB is not sensed check the battery.  Press the button on the FOB, you should see a small blue light opposite the end of the key ring.  If you do not see the blue light you will need to replace the battery.  Standard 2032 batteries are used.
